Summer Camps

The Department of Housing and Residence Life at MSU provides housing accommodations to a variety of visiting groups during the summer including youth, adult, athletic, and academic. Approximately 3,000 air-conditioned residence hall spaces are available from May 15 - August 1. Conference groups may be housed during other months of the year in Herbert Hall on a space available basis.

Reservation Process

By completing and returning a Reservation Form, space will be reserved for your group. If a group is not under written by an MSU organization or department, a deposit will be required.

The sponsor is responsible for payment of room and linen charges, any damage charges, missing items, lost keys, and excessive cleaning. Counselors who stay with campers in the halls must make an appointment with the Summer Guest Assistant and review hall policies and procedures. Each sponsor is encouraged to fill out evaluation form after the camp/conference has checked out.
