Freshman Residency Requirement

Mississippi State University's (MSU) Freshman Residency Requirement requires freshman students enrolled in twelve (12) or more semester credit hours to reside in University Student Housing. This requirement excludes summer sessions and is applicable until the attainment of sophomore standing (thirty (30) semester credit hours), or the receipt of an exemption from the Department of Housing and Residence Life.
