How to Apply

New Undergraduate Students - All undergraduate students with no prior enrollment at Mississippi State University
Current Undergraduate Students - All students currently enrolled at Mississippi State University (Current Student) or those who were enrolled during a prior term (Returning Student) who do not currently live in on-campus housing.
Continuing Residents - All residents currently living in on-campus housing.
New Graduate Students and Family Housing - All single graduate students or students who are married and/or have legal custody of a dependent child(ren).
Summer School Housing - All students wishing to apply for summer school housing.

Continuing Residents

If you are currently attending Mississippi State University and currently live in on-campus housing, you may request housing for the following year as part of SHARP (Student Housing Application Renewal Process). SHARP is usually available in February of each year for requests for the following Fall semester. Details are e-mailed to residents’ NetID@msstate.edu e-mail address prior to the opening of SHARP.
Requests should be submitted via myHousing during the scheduled time for each process. A non-refundable $55 application fee is not required for students currently living in on-campus housing.
